While we hope you can come explore our mountain home in person, you can still connect with us even if you can't make it to Asheville. Our Admissions Counselors travel throughout North Carolina and across the nation, and they are eager to meet you and answer your questions about Warren Wilson College and the admissions process.
Some school visits and fairs are virtual, and others are in person. Virtual events are labeled as such. High School Visits or College Fairs are usually open only to students of the host school(s). But if you are interested in attending a visit or college fair hosted by a school or organization that is not your own, it wouldn’t hurt to ask them directly if you can attend.
We encourage you to meet with us when we're in your area!
High School Visits
Throughout the academic year, Warren Wilson Admissions Counselors visit high schools across the country. These visits are a great opportunity for students to ask questions about our Academics, the Work Program, Community Engagement, and Student Life at Warren Wilson. High school visits often happen during the school day and are open only to students that attend that high school. If we're coming to your school, feel free to register on the right!
College Fairs
Throughout fall and spring, our Admissions Counselors attend college fairs hosted across the country and around the world. You can learn about local college fairs through your high school guidance office. Many college fairs hosted at local high schools are open only to students who attend there, but some fairs held at larger public venues are open to anyone in the regional area.
College fairs are excellent for gathering information about a variety of colleges and universities at one event. And you can meet a Warren Wilson College admissions counselor or alum!
Counselor Meetings & Interviews
Our Admissions Counselors also offer off-campus information sessions and one-on-one interviews in cities throughout the country from September to January. You may see sign-ups for some of these on the right. If a counselor is going to be in your area, but you don't see a one-on-one meeting opportunity, please just ask if an interview might be possible. You'll find their contact information in the events on the right or on our Admissions Team page.
