    Milepost One Scholarship Application

Warren Wilson will award up to 25 full-tuition Milepost One scholarships to students with total family income levels equal to or below $150,000 per year. This means that even families who may not be eligible for federal or state need-based grants still have an opportunity to earn a full tuition scholarship – this includes eligibility for international and DACA students. You can view the scholarship requirements before submitting.

Please complete the required fields below, upload your essay, and then submit your scholarship application. The deadline for submission is February 1, 2025. Scholarship applications will not be considered until the following requirements are met:

    • A complete application for admission to Warren Wilson College is on file. You can apply here.
    • Domestic students must also file and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to be considered. Find more information here.
    • International students must also submit the CollegeBoard International Student Financial Aid Application (ISFAA). Find more information here.

We will notify students of the status of their scholarship application by March 15, 2025.

Please explain why this issue is important to you, how you hope to engage with it, and why you think a Warren Wilson education will help you make this difference. (Feel free to write about multiple issue areas, if you’d like. At Warren Wilson, we understand that the world is a complicated, intersecting place.)

The essay should be about 750 words, and should be uploaded as a PDF, Microsoft Word document, or rich text file.
